At Al-Khair, we are committed to providing immediate assistance to those affected by disasters. Whether it’s the devastating earthquake of 2005 or the floods of 2010 and 2022, our team stands ready to support communities in their time of need.
The scale of these disasters has been massive and unprecedented, impacting millions of people and causing extensive damage to infrastructure, housing, agriculture, and livelihoods.
During phase 1 of our relief efforts, we prioritized the most urgent needs by setting up immediate relief tents for families left without shelter. Additionally, we organized healthcare camps in affected areas to address the spread of post-flood diseases, particularly in rural regions.
In phase 2, we focused on long-term recovery and rebuilding. We constructed sturdy homes for families who had lost everything in the disasters, offering them a chance to rebuild their lives and communities.
